Torpedos v3 (Torpedoes demo) - May 5, 2025

The earliest demo of Torpedoes I could find. This has some old lyrics, is missing a bunch of arrangement flourishes me/Luke/Ewan would later add, but is way closer to the final song than I remember. Some songs take make ages, others pop up fully formed. Listen to the final version and see which you like more. To my ears, Ewan really worked his magic on the mix for this one.

True props also need to be given to Luke for livening up the drum track, and pushing me to make it more 'There She Goes' by the La's. The only thing I wish I'd stuck to my guns on was the last line of the chorus. "How may dates do you wanna spurn" to my ears is way better than "How many lessons do you need to learn", but if I blindly followed every instinct and never listened to Luke, this song wouldn'tve existed in the first place.

Smart Race - Toby Fox/DELTARUNE (Cover) - April 6th, 2026

I sent my old cover of Smart Race to some friends, and was embarassed by how bad it sounded. I tried to make a new "better" cover, but just ended up making a cover that sounded 'different' lol.

Racing In The Winter - December 19th, 2025

In December of 2025, I was kicking around an idea for a low poly racing game inspired by Easy Delivery Co. I squashed this idea because BLIGHTWRECK still needs to get finished, but it didn't stop me from mucking around with a bunch of breakbeat samples and making a song for its hypothetical soundtrack.

Weekend Woman - weezer/Pacific Daydream (Cover) - October 26th, 2025

I love Pacific Daydream. This is a really rough cover of Weekend Woman, my favourite song off that album. I tried to mix in some elements from the demo version of the song with mixed results. It's kind of out of my vocal range, and the whole thing falls to bits by the end. Still, I had fun arranging it!

Check In, Front Desk - July 30th, 2025

I love Flower, Sun, and Rain (surprise) and had the idea of doing a concept album/EP based around the game last summer, but never really acted on it. This would've been the first song of the project. Genre wise, I dunno what you'd call this. Takanaka inspired power pop?

I'm quite fond of this song. Some day I'd love to go back and finish the whole thing. Maybe that's a project for this summer?

Smart Race - Toby Fox/DELTARUNE (Cover) - January 8th, 2022

A VERY lazy cover of Smart Race. The guitar and drums are me, the rest is a midi slap.
