Welcome!

Hi everyone! I'm Alexander. If you've landed here, please make sure you're not looking for my more "professional" website which can be found at alexquinn.ca (currently dead, oops!). This is my personal site STRICTLY for goofing off.

Right now, the website is themed after the 2004 videogame Flower, Sun, and Rain. I might switch things up in future, but I really REALLY love Flower, Sun, and Rain. Thus, Lospass is here to stay (at least for now). Credit is due to flowersunandrain.neocities.org for inspiring the FSR theming, and for having a really awesome webpage.

I spent the better part of two hours making the "on air" text work correctly. I hope it brings you as much joy as it does me. I shall be waiting with a smile at the front desk!

Apartment Maintenance (Log)

I made a lot of fish progress today, so I took a break and set up a FSR style dialogue system!

Added a new room to the apartment called Making. I'm gonna try and throw a little blurb of whatever I'm working on up here on the regular. Sometimes it'll be BLIGHTWRECK. Sometimes it'll be music. Sometimes it'll be editing. Here's hoping it encourages me to interact with the site on a more regular basis!

Moved blogposts off the front page to the Blog. Made the sidebar semi functional, and marginally less awful to interact with. Only marginally. Ported an old post over from my Substack. Oh, also, we've got a footer now! The WEB RING OF GLORY hath begun. I've just gotta make my own badge, and convince all my friends that they should make badges too.

I wanna work on a CSS class that lets me stick FSR style dialogue in the middle of pages. I think that's the last thing I'm missing to really complete my theming. Also realizing that my convoluted system for applying header/footer updates and adjusting relative directories for images (go look at the page source on any of the blog posts, it's a nightmare) was waaaaay too much. Probably.

Arbitrarily, I've decided this will be the log. The Blog will be for slightly more thought out "higher quality" content. This will just be the log, wheras the B in Blog will stand for "Big", making it the "BIG LOG".
